The Virginia Pest Management Association, a non-profit organization with more than 225 member companies, was established in 1948 to support the Virginia pest management industry’s commitment to the protection of public health, food and property. VPMA is dedicated to raising the standard on continuing education for pest management professionals with the creation of the WDI Inspector Certification Program, the Master Technician Program, and the Professional Pretreat Workshop. These are education programs that directly increase the technical quality of the pest management professionals that service your home and property. We are also dedicated to the support and education of homeowners and businesses in their search for quality pest management. The Association strives to provide timely information on pests and potential health and property threats for consumers.
Resolving Disputes
In addition to matching consumers up with quality pest management firms, VPMA is proud to provide a mediation service to resolve grievances between consumers and pest management companies, whether they are a member firm or not. If you have not been able to resolve a dispute with your pest management company, consider using VPMA’s grievance procedure. The grievance procedure is a voluntary, non-binding mediation service provided free of charge by VPMA.
