Rachael Ray Highlights Our Spring Pest-Proofing Tips
One of the central missions of PPMA is to reach current and prospective customers with positive messages about the value of our industry as well as important pest-prevention tips to help protect their health and property. Each year, we target popular and distinctive media programs with which to share PPMA’s messages. And today, we are excited to announce PPMA’s debut on one of the highest-rated and popular talk shows in America.
Daytime Emmy® Award Winner, Rachael Ray invited us to her set to discuss the various pest problems that can affect one’s home, especially in the spring and summer months. From stinging insects to termites to cockroaches to ants, all of these common pests were highlighted during a full 10-minute segment. The team at “The Rachael Ray Show” constructed a mock home, a larger scale model of the dream house media mailing we sent in February to the show’s producer, which allowed me to tour Rachael through all of the areas in and around the home where pests can invade and infest. Suffice to say, it was a segment that captured Rachael’s attention and we hope it does the same for all of her viewers. In case you missed it, here is a link to the clip from “The Rachael Ray Show,” which aired throughout Tuesday across the country.
All of the tips, statistics and pest facts that we know are critical to pest management are also included in a segment overview on the website for “The Rachael Ray Show.” A link to Pestworld.org is also included on her highly-trafficked site:

This appearance on “The Rachael Ray Show” is just one of the many media opportunities that PPMA has been cultivating throughout the spring and the timing of its debut could not be better as we enter the height of pest season. In fact, I have already received multiple emails from viewers across the country asking questions after watching our segment. This is the power of PPMA and I look forward to sharing even more media placements throughout the summer months. If you are not yet investing in PPMA–which makes all of our media outreach on behalf of the industry possible–please consider joining us in our mission.
